  • The Challenge.

    A-ha required more than a traditional artist website. The platform needed to become a centralised digital hub connecting fans with tours, tickets, music, video content and decades of band history.

    The previous platform struggled to connect content, ticketing and fan engagement into a unified experience. The redesigned website and booking system was built for a global audience, making it easier for fans to discover live events, explore archival content and engage with the brand through a fast, intuitive platform engineered to handle major tour announcements and high volumes of traffic.


    The Approach.

    Sugar Rush designed and developed a clean, timeless digital platform and integrated ticket booking system focused on simplicity, performance, and fan accessibility.

    The website was structured around the band’s live activity, ensuring tour information and regional ticket access remained front and centre throughout the experience. The custom ticket booking system integrated with Europes leading ticket providers, while connections to streaming platforms and video services created a seamless ecosystem that allowed fans to move effortlessly between content, music and live events.

    Performance optimisation, multilingual support and legacy content migration were key parts of the build, ensuring the platform could support a global audience while remaining lightweight, scalable and easy to manage internally.
